We use an optional first-party analytics cookie to understand how visitors use Sentriq. You can accept or reject analytics tracking — see our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.

Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Sentriq public website (sentriq.com) processes visitor data. It does not cover data our customers submit to the Sentriq platform itself — that is governed by each customer's own agreement with us.

Last updated: September 2026.

Scope

This Privacy Policy covers the public marketing website at sentriq.com only — pages like the homepage, product, solutions, pricing, and developer pages. It does not describe how the Sentriq product processes device, event, or risk data on behalf of our customers; that processing is governed by each customer's own agreement with us and their own privacy notices to their end users.

Website visitor analytics

With your consent, this website uses a first-party analytics mechanism to understand how visitors use it — which pages are viewed, which navigation links and calls to action are used, and where visitors arrived from. This helps us understand product interest and improve the site; it is not used for advertising, and no data is shared with any third-party advertising or analytics network.

Specifically, when analytics is enabled, we record:

  • The pages viewed during a visit, and a small set of named call-to-action clicks (for example, "Get Started" or "Contact Sales").
  • The referring site's domain and path (its own query string, if any, is discarded before storage).
  • Campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, and campaign), limited to a safe set of characters.
  • Coarse browser, operating system, and device-type information (for example, "Chrome on macOS, desktop") — never a detailed device fingerprint.
  • A masked version of your network (IP) address — the last portion is replaced before it is ever stored, so the full address is not retained.
  • The approximate start and end time of a visit.

What we deliberately never collect

Regardless of your consent choice, our website analytics is built to never capture: passwords, the contents of any form field or search box, payment card details, authentication or session tokens, cookies belonging to other sites, keystrokes, mouse movements, or a recording/replay of your screen. There is no code path in our tracking system that reads what you type.

Internal visit notifications

When analytics is enabled and you have consented, our team may receive an internal operational email when a new visit begins, and a summary email once that visit ends, containing the safe information described above. These are internal monitoring notifications for our own team, not communications sent to you, and they are never generated for a visitor who has not consented to analytics.

Retention

Visit and activity records are retained for a bounded period — currently 60 days from the start of the visit — after which they are automatically deleted. This period is a current operational default and may be adjusted; it will not be extended without updating this policy. Internal notification emails described above are retained according to our team's own mailbox provider, independent of this deletion schedule.

Your choice: analytics consent

Website analytics is optional and off by default. A cookie banner asks for your choice on your first visit; nothing described in the "Website visitor analytics" section above happens until you accept it. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer — see our Cookie Policy for the technical detail of how that choice is stored.

Necessary website operation

Independently of analytics consent, our infrastructure (and that of our hosting and network providers) keeps standard technical logs needed to operate, secure, and debug the website — for example, web server and security logs. These are a normal part of running any website, are not part of the visitor analytics system described above, and are not affected by your analytics preference.
